Rapunzel Had Such Potential

Laying in bed the other night, I was contemplating what career choices Rapunzel would have had if it hadn't been for that Flynn Rider cutting off her locks or that wicked immortality-craving old lady locking her up in a tower...

1. Coast Guard Rescue - what if they never had to lower a man into those freezing waters again to rescue the stupid crab fishers? What if instead Rapunzel just stayed in a helicopter and lowered her hair down when one of those boys fell into the ocean? Think of how excited she would be with each and every rescue? What an amazing occupation!

2. Doctor - If Rapunzel had her healing hair still, she could go to medical school and then heal people. And although she would have to wrap her hair around the people to do so, I think they'd be okay with that.

3. Nurse - Then on the other hand, rather than going all the way through medical school, she could just become a nurse - she would still be able to heal people, but her schooling would have taken a lot less time. Although she might get fired a lot if the doctors never actually got to see the patient to try to diagnose them. Or the doctors might love her because they'd have more time for golf.

4. Photographer - I just keep imagining all these amazing poses she could do with her hair. Especially if she also had the tower. People love towers as backdrops. I would love a tower as a backdrop. But the hair! Amazing!

5. Prison Guard - now this one might not be a more desirable skill for a lady, bust still - did you see what she did to Flynn with that hair and that frying pan? Just imagine what she could with a gun. But she still wouldn't need handcuffs. Those locks would make strong locks! :)

6. Interior Design - As amazing as Rapunzel's hair is, we can't forget her other skills. Her Painting! She could paint a room in a million different patterns, a milion differen designs! She would brilliantly transform any room she walked into. Of course, this carreer might still be possible now that Eugen intefered with her life. But as a princess, I can't imagine she actually needs a job.

7. Hairdresser - This one should have been obvious, but I will admit that this particular occupation didn't strike me right away. But thinking about it, she would be perfect! She has brushed and washer her own long locks so long she must know a thing or two about hair. I would be a bit concerned, though, that with all her hair filling up the shop, she might accidently cut her own hair rather than that of her client.
